We make every effort to ship your order quickly and safely.

Please allow 3 - 4 business days to process your order. Please remember to NOT include weekends or holidays in calculating the estimated transit time for your shipment.

SHIPPING METHOD:

USA

Orders within the continental US are shipped via UPS ground. We have found that UPS offers the best service for shipping within the continental United States. They offer tracking and insurance and are very fast to deliver and easy to work with. If you would like expedited shipping, please email us and we will happily help you arrange that at an extra charge.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT SHIP TO P.O. BOXES WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES!

ALASKA, HAWAII AND PUERTO RICO:

Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii & PR are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. This is actually a much faster and more cost effective method than UPS. Priority Mail packages also include tracking and insurance.

INTERNATIONAL:

Orders to the rest of the world are shipped via USPS as first class mail. This method is the most cost effective for our overseas customers, and we are happy to offer you the same shipping cost as our US customers. PLEASE NOTE: There is no tracking or insurance on these packages. If you would like us to send your order via Priority Mail (which includes tracking and insurance), please email us and we will happily help you arrange that at an extra charge.

Lotta Jansdotter is not responsible for any international customs fees incurred.

Transit times depend on your location and can take anywhere from a day or two to up to two weeks (for our distant overseas friends). All orders are shipped from our studio in Brooklyn, NY.

How are the Shipping Costs determined? Shipping costs are based on your total order amount before sales tax and promotional discounts are applied. We try and keep our shipping costs as low as possible. They are based on UPS/USPS shipping rates, and are only adjusted when prices at UPS/USPS fluctuate.

Do I pay sales taxes on my purchases? New York residents will have sales tax automatically added to their order. If you are not a NY resident, you are expected to comply with your state's current laws regarding purchases over the Internet.

Out of Stock Policy: If your selected merchandise is out of stock, we will inform you via email. We will refund you for any item that is out of stock as soon as we know.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER:

Once your order has shipped you will receive an email confirmation with your UPS/USPS tracking number (UPS & Priority Mail packages only). Use this number to track your order at www.ups.com or www.usps.com. If you have questions about your order, please call 718 755 9945, or email us.

PAYMENT:

We accept payment through Paypal. Paypal is an easy and secure way to shop on the internet, - you do not have to have a paypal account to buy through paypal.

RETURNS:

We want you to be happy with your Lotta Jansdotter products. If you are not, please let us know and we will take care of your order right away. Please email us at order@jansdotter.com so we can process your return. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

I am sorry: we do not accept returns on sale items.

We do not accept returns of Lotta Jansdotter merchandise that was not purchased from our studio or online store.

Your return must be accompanied by the original receipt (or a copy). We will issue you a refund on the item(s) you return, however original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Returns need be well-packed and insured for the full price of the item and shipped to the following address:

How do I report damaged shipments? Please call us immediately at +1 718 755 9945 and we will process a claim and/or replacement. UPS / USPS usually require an inspection in the event of damage so please hold onto all packing materials and the item until further notice. Lotta Jansdotter MUST be informed within 7 days of delivery of all damaged goods, or we cannot process a claim. Please inspect all deliveries thoroughly upon arrival.
